As a finale to another brilliant Build, Tycho's live set at the Stiff Kitten was simply stunning. I've been a long time follower of Scott's various alter egos so it was fantastic to finally see him perform live, especially with the addition of live drums and bass.
It's been an amazing week all round, meeting new people and catching up with old friends. Huge, massive thanks to Andy, Adam, all the speakers, the guys from Best Made, Billykirk, Taza and Blue Bottle Coffee for letting me stalk them with a camera all week, Filly for being my partner in camera crime, all the volunteers, the Ecliptic Labs folks for brewing beers that miraculously don't give you a hangover, and everyone who helped out - you've done a phenomenal job. Here's to doing it one last time.
Gonna nurse a 5 day collected hangover with some more editing - lots more photos to come...
Had an awesome weekend down at Trans Festival's Winter BASE. For those who couldn't make it here's the whole weekend in 70 seconds!
Some photos of Sleigh Bells, Ghostpoet and Girls Names from last night's awesome show at Trans Festival's Winter BASE event at the Ulster Hall, Belfast.
Live collaborative performance between Dublin based band Logikparty and stop-motion animator and filmmaker Martha Colburn.
Held as part of Catalyst Arts ‘Danse Macabre’ project, the band performed an awesome set at the Waterfront Hall whilst Martha spun some quite frankly phenomenal visuals from two 16mm projectors.
An exhibition featuring more of Martha’s films, as well as work by Heather Gabel, Helen McDonnell and Hornby is on until the 13th August at the Catalyst Arts Gallery, Belfast.
